Dance on the volcano! (Underwater eruption near El Hierro)

This just to let you all know that the volcanic and seismic activity on El Hierro as reported in the media over the past weeks is benign – geologists are coming to the island by the dozens to witness the birth of a new tiny underwater island off the southeastern coast near La Restinga. As a practical experience, the little accompanying quakes evoked the familiar feeling of a truck driving by a house you’re in.
